This Year's Swim-a-Thon

This year's swim-a-thon was Saturday February 27 from 9am to 11am

The Swim-a-thon is a nationally recognized fundraiser supported by USA Swimming. The Haines Dolphins Swim Team hosts one Swim-a-thon each year, in which Dolphin athletes of all ages swim as many lengths as possible in two hours (maximum 200 lengths). In addition to raising money for team expenses, it's a high-energy event and tons of fun. Sponsors support swimmers by donating a flat monetary amount or by pledging an amount per length based on the number of lengths that their sponsored athlete hopes to swim.

Pledges and donations can be made in person or online. Sponsors may support one or more individual Dolphins or make a donation in support of the team as a whole.
